The grey's trainer Bob Baffert has confirmed the horse in good form after his third in the Santa Anita Handicap last Saturday, and will ship last year's winner to Dubai on March 17th.

Silver Charm is likely to face four Saeed bin Suroor-trained rivals in Almutawakel, Central Park, Daylami and High-Rise, the mount of Frankie Dettori.

Philip Mitchell's Running Stag, who will have a racecourse gallop at Lingfield on Monday, is likely to travel on March 18th.

"To have the defending champion, Silver Charm, a past Kentucky Derby winner, return to Dubai is great news.

"His challengers include an English Derby winner in HighRise, an Italian Derby winner in Central Park, a Belmont Stakes winner in Victory Gallop, last year's Santa Anita Handicap winner Malek and a French Classic and multiple Group One winner in Daylam, plus Almutawakel, a Group One winner in France last year.
