1 min- Straight from the throw-in Enda McGinley launches an attack, charging into open space before being fouled. Colm McCullagh taps over Tyrone 0-1 Kerry 0-0

2 mins- Darragh Ó Sé passes to Colm Gooch Cooper, who with characteristic deftness fires over the equaliser to settle Kerry's nerves Tyrone 0-1 Kerry 0-1

7 mins- McCullagh plays the ball into Seán Cavanagh. Tom O'Sullivan is forced to foul and this time Tommy McGuigan does the honours from the resulting free Tyrone 0-2 Kerry 0-1

8 mins- Darragh Ó Sé wins another good ball and passes to Tommy Walsh, who is brought down. The Gooch makes no mistake with the free Tyrone 0-2 Kerry 0-2

11 mins- Tommy McGuigan passes to Davy Harte, who shoots with the outside of his right Tyrone 0-3 Kerry 0-2

19 mins- Cavanagh is clearly the target man now, and McGinley makes full use of him again with a well-placed pass. Cavanagh opts for the fisted point this time Tyrone 0-5 Kerry 0-4

20 mins- Declan O'Sullivan is still on fire and goes it alone this time, tearing through several Tyrone defenders to fire over Tyrone 0-5 Kerry 0-5

21 mins- Referee Maurice Deegan spots Kieran Donaghy being fouled off the ball by Justin McMahon. Bryan Sheehan kicks over Tyrone 0-5 Kerry 0-6

24 mins- The score they'll be talking about for years to come. Relatively quiet up until now, Tyrone captain Brian Dooher takes up possession well inside his own and then takes off down the left hand sideline. Killian Young chases, but is soon chasing in vain, and with tremendous strength and determination, Dooher draws himself into a scoring position and fires over an unbelievable point Tyrone 0-6 Kerry 0-6

27 mins- Ryan McMenamin passes to Philip Jordan, who in turn finds Martin Penrose isolated and able to convert an easy score Tyrone 0-7 Kerry 0-6

29 mins- Eoin Brosnan wins a free, 50 metres out, which Sheehan fires over with ease, levelling the scores for the seventh time Tyrone 0-7 Kerry 0-7

33 mins- The Gooch wins himself a free, which is moved on to the 10-metre line when Davy Harte objects. The conversion gives Kerry the advantage at the break Tyrone 0-7 Kerry 0-8

35 mins- Straight from the throw-in, Tyrone create chaos in the Kerry goalmouth, with Kevin Hughes about to shoot at goal only for Darragh Ó Sé to make a half block. Pádraig Reidy very nearly makes a clearance before he falls over the line, and Tommy McGuigan is able to slot the ball into the net Tyrone 1-7 Kerry 0-8

36 mins- Ryan Mellon completes a tearing run down the left with a superb point Tyrone 1-8 Kerry 0-8

43 mins- Donaghy makes a rare, clean catch and passes to Tommy Walsh, who in turn finds Darren O'Sullivan, and although just on the field, he scores a fine point Tyrone 1-8 Kerry 0-9

44 mins- Dooher shows great strength and will to score Tyrone 1-9 Kerry 0-9

45 mins- Tommy Walsh takes on Joe McMahon and punches over a fairly crucial score to draw the margin back to two Tyrone 1-9 Kerry 0-10

45 mins- Tyrone's star forward Seán Cavanagh steps up to the table again with his undeniable class, waltzing through the Kerry defence to pop over a point Tyrone 1-10 Kerry 0-10

46 mins- Darren O'Sullivan sets up the Gooch close to goal for an easy tap over Tyrone 1-10 Kerry 0-11

49 mins- Kerry captain Tomás Ó Sé takes command and bursts forward for one of his almost obligatory scores Tyrone 1-10 Kerry 0-12

55 mins- Level for the eighth time. The Gooch produces a passage of pure magic, dribbling and dodging around several players before laying off to Darragh Ó Sé Tyrone 1-10 Kerry 0-13

56 mins- Sheehan is fouled out by the left sideline. The Gooch takes a short free to Donaghy, who then plays it back to the Gooch, and the champions are in front Tyrone 1-10 Kerry 0-14

58 mins- Owen Mulligan is introduced for Tyrone, and with his first touch of the ball, sets up Seán Cavanagh for his fourth point from play. The sides are level once again. Amazing stuff Tyrone 1-11 Kerry 0-14

70 mins- Pure desperation in Kerry now, as Diarmuid Murphy's hasty kick-out falls straight into the hands of Colm Cavanagh, who takes the insurance point with ease. Kerry have gone into meltdown Tyrone 1-15 Kerry 0-14
