SANTA CONCERTO can book his place at the Cheltenham Festival by winning the Bet With The Tote Novices' Chase at Carlisle today. Len Lungo's eight year old has been talked up ever since he won a bumper at this track two years ago and he notched a couple of bloodless hurdles victories last season.

But his future has always been over fences and he finally made his debut over the bigger obstacles at Ayr last month, comfortably beating Seeking Gold by one and three quarter lengths.

Santa Concerto made a couple of mistakes there but will have learnt from that Lungo has good prospects of a double with Parson's Lodge in the Hoechst Roussel Panacur EBF Mares' Novices' Hurdle.
