Triffic goings-on in Romanian football, according to Onefootball.com. Rapid Bucharest have alleged their defeat at Pitesti was fixed and that referee Constantin Fratila left the ground a, well, richer man.

Fratila turned down two blatant penalties for Rapid, prompting Rapid captain Adrian Lencsi to howl "You took the bread from our mouths, you gangster - how much did they pay you to kill us" upon hearing the final whistle.

The club's owner George Copos, meanwhile, described Fratila as "a thief and a very corrupt, dirty man" but, best of all, was striker Robert Nita's post-match outburst: "You cheated us . . . you deserve to go and referee in Afghanistan - if you made the same mistakes there you would be shot."
