Quinn's double triumph

Jimmy Quinn enjoyed his best moments of the current Hong Kong season by landing a Happy Valley double today on Cigar King and Grand Prize.

Cigar King made the most of the 12lb concession from First Honour by pulling two lengths clear in the Maple Handicap over an extended mile.

Grand Prize's win in the Elm Handicap over the same trip proved much harder work, with the winner scrambling home by a head from City Fortune (recd 13lb).

Quinn's successes took his seasonal tally in the current season to three.

Douglas Whyte emulated Quinn by also landing a double on Fame And Wealth and Aspiration.
