MORE THAN 50 per cent of 2011 GAA season ticket holders have renewed their tickets for 2012 season only five days after going on sale at gaa.ie.

The new improved 2012 package has proved to be particularly popular in Dublin where the uptake of football tickets has already doubled.

Sales of Dublin GAA football season tickets have already broken records and the juvenile version for 2012 is now sold out.

This is the fourth year of the GAA season ticket with almost 10,000 members and supporters purchasing tickets last year.

The base price, which includes all a selected county’s Allianz League fixtures and opening Championship fixture in the selected code, remains at €75 for adults until Sunday, December 18th. The juvenile price is €10.

This year the season ticket offers access to all Allianz League matches in the selected code including any semi-finals, finals or relegation play-offs. The ticket also offers access to the AIB GAA Club Championship Finals on St Patrick’s Day in Croke Park.

Season ticket holders can also qualify for an All-Ireland final ticket if their chosen county reaches the final in their chosen code by attending 60 per cent of the county’s league and championship matches.
