Celtic manager Martin O'Neill admits there would be no shortage of buyers if the club cannot agree a new deal with Henrik Larsson.
The Swedish international is re-negotiating his contract at Celtic and O'Neill is confident that the club can persuade Larsson, who has two years remaining on his current deal, to stay.
"The last thing Henrik Larsson is a greedy man and I'm hoping that he will sign for us," said O'Neill.
"I'm quite sure that if he really, really put himself out - to tender somewhere else - that other clubs would come in and give him more money.
"But we are going to do our very, very best to try and make him as happy as we possibly can.
"The talks are on-going and I am very pleased with way things are going. I'd hope that we would complete things sooner rather than later, but please don't ask me to put a time limit on it."
