CONOR O'DWYER, who is currently lying second in the jockeys' table behind runaway leader Charlie Swan, is in great form and is fancied to partner Rossmanagher to success in the Widgeon Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse this afternoon, 1.30.

The Donal Hassett-trained gelding trailed in 15 lengths behind Charlie Mingus at Punchestown last time but is probably better judged on his two-length win over Holiway Star at Tipperary last October.

Richard Dunwoody makes another of his flying visits and he should not go unrewarded when he rides Shining Willow, beaten a length and five lengths by Punting Pete and Kilspindie at Navan, in the Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle.

Kalona attempts a four-timer in the Eider Handicap Chase but his efforts may be thwarted by Risk Of Thunder, who was beaten two lengths by Go Go Gallant at Punchestown.
