BOLSTERED by five members of the Leinster A squad, Newpark overpowered St Conleth's in this Leinster Schools' Senior Cup (Section A) second round tie at Merrion Road yesterday.
Once Newpark had confirmed their superiority with three first half tries from Robert Lillis (2) and Doug Tormey, and a penalty and two conversions from out half David Doran to build up a 22-0 lead, it was expected that they would ease the foot off the gas.
But five four more tries came in the second half from Darragh Lennon, Greg Felton (2), Tormey and Paul Murray, with Doran adding four conversions.
