LIMERICK SFC:NEWCASTLE WEST will take on the reigning champions Monaleen in the county final on October 16th after the weekend's semi-finals.

Newcastle West failed to score from play in the first half and Drom-Broadford were held scoreless from play in the second.
At Kilmallock, Limerick star Ger Collins hit three late points to put Monaleen back into the final with a 1-10 to 0-8 victory over Fr Casey’s. He scored the only goal in the first half at the end of which his side led by 1-4 to 0-4 after Padraic McEnery had an Abbeyfeale penalty blocked superbly by Donal OSullivan. The sides were level after 37 minute but a pointed free put Monaleen back in front and they remained there to the end.
