Glenswilly 1-8 Cavan Gaels 0-10:CAVANS LONG wait for a first Ulster club football title continues after Michael Murphy's injury-time penalty sealed the deal for Glenswilly at Kingspan/Breffni Park. The winners' go-to guy snatched victory from the jaws of defeat after midfielder Neil Gallagher was upended in the square.

Wind-aided, Cavan started well and a brace from Micheal Lyng helped ease the hosts into a 0-3 to 0-1 lead after five minutes.

The Gaels extended that advatage to lead 0-6 to 0-3 after Seán Johnston’s finely-judged free sailed over the bar in the 23rd minute.

Glenswilly then relocated Michael Murphy onto the 40 to some effect and points by Darren McGinley and Gary McFadden helped draw the visitors level, 0-6 to 0-6, at half-time.
