Inter Milan v Rubin Kazan:JOSE MOURINHO has complete faith in his Inter Milan side to win their decisive group match against Rubin Kazan and progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Inter currently stand second in Group F on the same points as their Russian visitors and two behind leaders Barcelona, with both qualification places still up for grabs in Group F.

Should either Inter or Rubin win then they will go through with either Barcelona or Dynamo Kiev.

However, if the match at the San Siro is drawn then Inter would only be guaranteed a knockout berth if the Ukrainians do not triumph in Kiev.

Mourinho, who won the Champions League with Porto before moving on to Chelsea, is supremely confident his side can prevail against Rubin, who recently retained their Russian title. Mourinho said: “We’re not scared of Rubin. We are better than them and I think we will win tomorrow.

“We haven’t qualified yet so we can’t even think about finishing first or second, or about who we will play after. Inter will just have to win tomorrow.”

Mourinho was coy as to his starting line-up, adding: “You’re all good at guessing my team. This time, not even my assistants know what team I will play against Rubin. We will see who is good at getting into my head and reading my thoughts.”

Despite having such confidence in his side, Mourinho did offer congratulations to Rubin on their achievement in winning the Russian Premier Liga. “Compliments to Rubin on winning the championship, please send my congratulations to the team, the coach and the fans,” he said.

While Inter are still top of Serie A, after losing to Juventus at the weekend, their lead was reduced to four points by city rivals, AC.
