Morshdi has arrived back at Michael Jarvis' Kremlin House Stables in Newmarket in top form following his second to Galileo in the Budweiser Irish Derby.
Morshdi was beaten four lengths by the Vodafone Derby winner in the Curragh Classic on Sunday but finished a similar distance ahead of the third horse, Sagitta 2,000 Guineas winner Golan.
Short-term plans for the Italian Derby winner remain fluid with his main objective later in the season being the Rothmans Royals St Leger at Doncaster in September.
"I've not had chance to speak to Sheikh Ahmed and his racing manager yet," Jarvis said. "We'll just let the dust settle and see where we go. A lot depends on where Galileo goes. The St Leger is Morshdi's long-term target but it's some way off."
The Newmarket trainer has all but ruled out the Great Voltigeur Stakes at York next month as Morshdi would be burdened with a 5lb penalty for that Group Two contest.
