LADBROKES report strong betting interest in The Ladbroke, due to be run at Leopardstown on Saturday, with Clifdon Fog, trained by Jim Bolger, the best backed horse, from 16 to 1 to 12 to 1.

"This is the second wave of support for Clifdon Fog which must make the horse worth a second look. Also in demand have been Black Queen from 16 to 1 to 14 to 1 and we have added Theatreworld to our list at 12 to 1 having previously rated him a doubtful runner," said spokesman Ian Wassell.

"The good news is that everyone in Ireland seems hopeful that The Ladbroke should escape the clutches of the weather, if only by the shortest of short heads, added Wassell.
