A week ago Liam Meade came to the rescue of Crosshaven's Colaiste Mhuire in the first round of the Munster Schools' Senior Cup when he struck a late penalty to give his side a 15-15 draw against Newtown in Waterford.
Yesterday, he continued where he left off when he kicked a penalty after five minutes and went on to contribute 16 points in his side's convincing replay victory.
The home side set the scene in the opening half against the wind when Meade converted a try by Graham O'Donovan against a penalty from Canice Grant to make it 10-3 at the break.
Inside the opening 12 minutes of the second half, it was all over with Meade landing three further penalties. Crosshaven continued to dominate and in the final stages Conor Deane scored a try which Meade converted.
