Mayo cut loose in the second half to win easily in Ballina on Saturday.
With Mayo leading by 1-7 to 04 at half-time, Leitrim reduced the gap to two points within two minutes of restarting. From there on it was one-way traffic and Trevor Mortimer scored their third goal 10 minutes from time.
