Kevin Whelan put local knowledge to good effect when winning the Captain's (Danny Nolan) Prize of the Irish Artisans Golf Association at Greystones. Whelan returned 67 nett to win by a shot from Colm Gill (Dun Laoghaire). Whelan's clubmate Johnny Sutton was third with 69 and the gross award went to Geoff Hackett (Grange) with 76.
