GAA: NFL DIVISION THREE: Westmeath 0-14 Limerick 0-12THIS CRUCIAL Division Three tie at Newcastle West finished in a blaze of controversy which resulted in a vital win for Westmeath, who finished the game with only 12 players.
All the action was jammed into those hectic closing minutes in a game in which Limerick paid a high price for a huge number of first half wides.
Brendan Murtagh was dismissed with seven minutes left, followed five minutes later by Paul Greville. And in stoppage-time man of the match Dessie Dolan, who scored six points for the winners, was shown a second yellow. And after a major skirmish in the dying seconds some players were lucky to stay in the action.
