Lennox Lewis outweighed Evander Holyfield by a massive 31 lbs when the two heavyweight giants stood on the scales at Madison Square Garden last night ahead of tomorrow's world title fight.

Lewis, the WBC champion, checked in at 17 st 8 lbs while Holyfield registered 15 st 5l bs. Lewis's manager Frank Maloney said: "It's just the weight we have trained for. Holyfield is too light."
