Justin Leonard returned to the world's top 20 following his one-shot victory over compatriot David Toms at the St Jude Classic in Memphis on Sunday.
Leonard, who held on for his 10th PGA Tour win after starting the final round eight strokes clear of the field, climbed nine spots to 20th in the world rankings.
Toms, defending champion at the TPC at Southwind, where he fired a closing seven-under 63 in his bid to win the title for a third year in a row, moved up one place to 10th in the global pecking order.
There was no change in the top six, although world number one Vijay Singh stretched his lead over second-placed Tiger Woods to 0.34 average ranking points.
Ernie Els stayed at three, Phil Mickelson at four, US Open champion Retief Goosen at five and Australia's Adam Scott at six.
In the only other changes to the top 10, Sergio Garcia and Chris DiMarco traded places, Garcia moving up to seven and DiMarco dropping to eight, while Padraig Harrington climbed one spot to nine.
Newly-crowned BMW Championship winner Angel Cabrera has confirmed his place in this summer's Scottish Open.
The Argentinian is now third on the Order of Merit and 14th in the world rankings.
He will join mentor and compatriot Eduardo Romero and other former champions Thomas Bjorn, Ernie Els, Tom Lehman, Colin Montgomerie, and Lee Westwood at Loch Lomond from July 7th.
