INTERPROVINCIAL HURLING SEMI-FINAL Leinster 4-14 Ulster 0-8:THE SCORELINE from Casement Park tells the story of threequarters of the game. Once Joe Bergin netted in the 17th minute to put Leinster 1-1 to 0-2 ahead the visitors skated to victory.
Goals win games and it was a double strike just before the interval that turned the game. When Eddie Brennan and Aidan Fogarty netted in the 27th and 31st minutes it left Leinster ahead by 3-5 to 0-4 at the break.
Both sides made changes after the break, but Leinster dominated with a stream of scores. Brennan rolled home his second goal in the 51st minute.
