Leinster get the punters in

The once-fickle Dublin public responded positively emphatically to Saturday's Celtic League final

The once-fickle Dublin public responded positively emphatically to Saturday's Celtic League final. Notoriously slow to come out and support Leinster in any great numbers - in marked contrast to their Munster brethren whose support of their team is legendary - they bucked the trend at the weekend. Prior to the day of the game only 17,000 tickets had been pre-sold for the match but a crowd of 26,000 paid in to the game. It still remains to be seen, though, how many will be prepared to support Leinster financially and follow them to Newcastle for their second last pool game when the European Cup resumes early next month.
