A converted Brendan Burke try put Leinster 7-0 ahead with Brian Davis adding another to leave the home side comfortably ahead at half time.

And shortly after the interval the Leinster pack converged on the Ulster line with right wing Martin McPhall breaking free to leave the game safe. Ulster's sole score came from full back Colin Lawson.
