Drogheda Utd v UCD

United Park, kick-off 8pm

On TV: Setanta Ireland

With their latest European adventure now behind them, title-chasing Drogheda United look to strengthen their domestic position against UCD at United Park tonight.

Paul Doolin's side have not lost in the league since the last week in May and victory tonight would open a 10-point lead over Shamrock Rovers at the summit.

That defeat came against Shamrock Rovers who are now challenging but the Dublin club lost at the weekend and the title is very much Drogheda's to lose.

"At the start of the year we toughed it out when hit by a series of injuries," said Doolin. "I believe winning games at that time has set the foundation for our league position right now.

"Rovers may have lost at the weekend but we don't worry about other teams. We just look out for ourselves and we'll be doing just that tonight."

Drogheda - who have beaten UCD twice already this season - are without midfielders Shane Robinson and Richie Baker.Robinson twisted his ankle in Sweden and also has a minor foot problem. Baker is still nursing the hamstring strain that kept him out of the European game. Eighth-placed UCD are without Paul Byrne (knee) while Alan Mahon is suspended.
