Michael Kinane has been offered the ride on British import, Carry The Flag, in the inaugural Singapore Airlines International Cup (10f) at Kranji tomorrow week.
Brett Doyle rode Carry The Flag to victory in the Singapore Gold Cup in October, but has had to turn down the ride owing to Hong Kong commitments.
Hence the approach to Kinane whose current Hong Kong ban for careless riding expires next Thursday.
Michael Kent, the Kranji trainer, said: "I hope that Kinane will be able to ride Carry The Flag, especially as I can guarantee him other rides.
"I know that Singapore Turf Club are very keen for him to ride, as his presence will undoubtedly raise the international profile of the meeting even further."
Kinane, whose club stint in Hong Kong ends in mid-March, has taken a golfing holiday in Thailand since his suspension in the Chinese territory.
