A visitor from Bellaghy in Derry recalled some time later when the clubs were about to contest the 1995 All-Ireland club final that he had once introduced one Kilmacud Crokes member to another at the Sevens and was greatly amused that the club was so big that its members didn't all know each other. Naturally the incident occurred at one of the great traditions of All-Ireland weekends, the Kilmacud Football Sevens. Sponsored by Beamish Stout for the 29th year, it boasts an entry of 48 teams.
TG4 will cover the competition, which will be staged at four venues in Dublin: Pβirc de Burca, Silver Park, St Benildus College and Clonkeen College.
