Leinster IHC Final: Kilkenny 4-20 Dublin 1-10 An impressive first-half performance helped Kilkenny to defeat Dublin and take the Leinster intermediate hurling title at O'Moore Park, Portlaoise last night.
Goals from Niall Moloney, Paul Sheehan and Aidan Fogarty ensured Kilkenny were comfortably ahead 3-11 to 0-5 at the break.
There was no let-up in the second half, Kilkenny sealing victory with a fourth goal, scored by substitute Noel Doherty, in the 51st minute. Dublin came back with a late rally from Emmet Carroll, but the result was not in doubt.
