Irish make history

Ireland's badminton players beat England for the first time ever in Whitehall Road, Terenure last night. The 3-2 victory was achieved with wins in the women's singles by Sonya McGinn, men's doubles by Bruce and Mark Topping, and in the mixed doubles by Donal O'Halloran and Elaine Kiely in the mixed doubles.
