MICHAEL Hills will miss the ride aboard King George and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes favourite Pentire after receiving a three day ban at Doncaster last night.
Hills was found guilty of careless riding aboard Polinesso - trained by his father Barry - who dead heated for third place in the Cameron 4 Scania Conditions Stakes.
Polinesso was demoted to fourth place and Hills was suspended for three days, July 26th, 27th and 29th inclusive, meaning that he will not be unable to partner Geoff Wragg's four year old at Ascot on Saturday week.
. Apprentice Pat McCabe received a two day ban for improper riding at Brighton last night.
McCabe, who rode Rocky Waters into second place in the White Hawk Selling Stakes, was found to have struck his mount with unreasonable frequency and was suspended for July 26th and 29th.
