SATURDAY

Pool Five

Benetton Treviso v Scarlets,

Stadio Comunale di Monigo, 1.30

FOR THE Scarlets to qualify from this fiendishly difficult pool they need four, probably five, points today in Italy.

Only problem is Treviso will have identified this as a big scalp from miles out and will seek to replicate Aironi’s heroics in beating Biarritz last week.

Pool Six

Toulouse v Glasgow Warriors.

Pool Three

Toulon v London Irish

Stade Félix Mayo, 3.30

LONDON IRISH coach Toby Booth called this fixture a “do or die” for his team but with two defeats already in the satchel and Toulon just two points shy of Munster, Irish are a further five points adrift, they need a win here and a favour from the Ospreys.

On current form, this looks unlikely on both counts.

TOULON: B Lapeyre, R Lamont, G Messina, T May, R Wulf, F Contepomi, P Mignoni, L Emmanuelli, M Ivaldi, D Kubriashvili, J Suta, D Schofield, O Missoup, G Smith, J van Niekerk (capt). Replacements: J Orioli, S Taumoepeau, M Merabet, C Loamanu, J El Abd, P Sackey, L Magnaval, K Chesney.

Cardiff Blues v Northampton Saints

Cardiff city, 3pm

THE SAINTS can reinforce their tag as one of the tournament favourites by winning on the road. If they maintain their usual intensity Pool One will have a sorted look to it by Sunday evening.

Jamie Roberts’ return to the Cardiff bench after a wrist injury is a massive boost for Welsh rugby.

Pool Five

Leicester Tigers v Perpignan

Welford Road, 3pmSky Sports 1

DID ANYONE think to market this as “When Tuilagis collide”?

Big brother (literally) Henry checks in on his younger siblings, Alesana and the England- qualified Manu (who is on the bench) at Leicester.

After Perpignan’s 24-19 win in France last week the backlash should yield four points to the Tigers and complete control of the pool enter the final rounds.

LEICESTER TIGERS: G Murphy (capt); S Hamilton, M Smith, A Allen, A Tuilagi; T Flood, B Youngs; M Ayerza, G Chuter, M Castrogiovanni; L Deacon, G Skivington; T Waldrom, C Newby, J Crane. Replacements: R Hawkins, J White, D Cole, E Slater, S Mafi, J Grindal, J Staunton, M Tuilagi.
