IRISH rugby star Eddie Halvey demonstrated that he has some talent on the golf course too when he teamed up with his Dromoland clubmate Pat McKenna to take second place in the West Limerick Community Workshop open fourball at Adare Manor.
Halvey, playing off 18, and McKenna had 46 points - but it wasn't enough to trouble winners Denis O'Shea and Seamus Dundon, who came in with a fine total of 49 points.
