Groan of the week

Arsenal's official website (http://www.arsenal.co.uk/) has been asking supporters to compose musical tributes to their favourite Gunners in recent weeks. Jason Albarin took up the challenge and provided this gem, entitled "Pet-it Be" (yes, yes, you've guessed it, to the tune of Let It Be): "When the defence are in trouble, Arsene Wenger's remedy, will always be Vieira and Petit. Manu Petit, Manu Petit, Manu Petit, Manu Petit, we'll always have Vieira and Petit." Ahem. Or how about Gooner Girl's contribution (to the tune of "Sonnet" by the Verve): "Yes, he's Patrick Vieira, he drives a Sierra, My Lord. Yes, he's a great defender, defenceless he'll render, forwards." Chris Lucken (tune: Don't Cry For Me Argentina) "Don't fly for me Dennis Bergkamp, don't bother driving either, just stay at home with the radio, we'll win in Kiev, if we stop Shevchenko." Sigh.
