Good Counsel 2-11 Dundalk Colleges 1-8:Dara Doyle of Good Counsel, New Ross, proved the difference between the sides in Newbridge yesterday, scoring 1-4 in the second half as they progressed at the expense of their Louth opponents.
Leading by a point at the break, Counsel took charge as Doyle converted four frees. His goal came with 15 minutes left when from Cathal Bulger’s pass he finished with ease. The visitors pressed to overcome a seven-point gap and with two minutes left Dara Hamill landed a free for the Dundalk outfit.
