NFL DIVISION FOUR Wicklow 2-22 London 1-4:SHARPSHOOTER LEIGHTON Glynn notched 1-6 for Wicklow at Aughrim yesterday as they comfortably retained their position at the top of Division Four.

Wing-forward JP Dalton turned in the man-of-the-match display; his work rate was phenomenal right through the match, while Paddy Dalton and full-forward Seanie Furlong also impressed.

London full-forward Eoin O’Neill scored an early goal from a penalty but a similar effort from Glynn saw Wicklow lead 1-7 to 1-1 at the interval. Corner-forward Seán Kelly landed three smashing points for the exiles in the second half but otherwise it was one-way traffic. Furlong scored Wicklow’s second goal after 54 minutes.
