A GLAMOROUS television weathergirl will bring a ray of sunshine to The New Den next season following the announcement that Millwall have signed a sponsorship deal with Live TV.

Stunning 6ft blonde Anne Marie Foss, who reads weather reports to viewers of the off-beat cable tv station in her native Norwegian language dressed in a bikini, will be the Lions' new mascot.

And Millwall's famous blue shirts will be emblazoned with the logo "The Weather in Norwegian" as part of an agreement that is set to net the cash-strapped second division club £200,000 over two years.

Millwall's newly-elected chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: "We see the deal as a fun thing, something that is innovative and what football needs. Our fans have not had much to smile about recently and we see this sponsorship as a way of putting it right."
