Natalie Gulbis (14), became the youngest player to qualify for a women's professional event when she shot a six over par 78 to claim one of the two qualifying places in the Long Drugs Challenge at Lincoln, California.

It means that she will miss her finals at Granite Bay High School in Citrus Heights, California.

"I thought I would have to shoot, 74 or 75, so I'm surprised," said Gulbis. "I'm just trying not to get too nervous."
