Irish international Martina Gillen shared the individual honours and helped the Kent State University women's golf team to third place at the Shootout at the Legends last week. The Golden Flashes shot rounds of 294-291-300 for a total of 885.

Gillen (Maryfield College) shared first-place honours with Kim Benedict from the University of Michigan. Gillen fired rounds of 71-69-72 for 212. The Golden Flashes will wrap up the Fall schedule on November 5th/6th at the Pine Needles Women's Championship at the Pine Needles Golf Course in Southern Pines, NC.
