Mick Galwey will have to keep going for at least another season if he is to notch 100 All-Ireland League appearances for Shannon. The 33-year-old second row has played 99 times for his club and seemed certain to grab the ton this season. However, due to Munster commitments he sat out the Cork Constitution and Clontarf games, so will now have to wait until the opening game of next season's campaign to reach the century.
