The Saw Doctors headline The Final Fling bill at College Green on Saturday night. The free, Bank of Ireland-sponsored gig is, however, only one part of the band's involvement in All-Ireland final weekend. Band member Leo Moran (above left, with Ja Fallon and Davy Carton) has linked up with a friend to record a homage to Galway football, with 10 songs on a CD called Folk Football. Rumours that the fee for Saturday night's gig is being paid in kind - tickets for Sunday's match - may not be far from the truth.
