Irish fan walking back from Lansdowne Road to pub after Dutch game. Happens upon group of grieving Dutch fans sitting on pavement. Irish fan smiles sympathetically and attempts to make way through group. "STOP," howls Dutch fan, "you cannot walk over our flag."
Irish fan stops, observing that he is was about to upset vistors by traversing ginormous flag of Netherlands on pavement. Walks, respectfully, around flag and proceeds to pub. Looks back and observes: (a) flag is drenched in spilt Dutch beer, (b) Dutch cigarette burns, (c) a small puddle of Dutch vomit and (d) Dutch fan - the one who asked him to walk around flag - is urinating all over it, albeit accidentally (aiming for wall but, like Kluivert, missed target). Irish fan respectfully concludes: funny auld game.
