Doyle's goal puts Carlow in the clear


CHRISTY RING CUP SECOND ROUND: Carlow 1-16 Kildare 1-13:CRAIG DOYLE’S 57th-minute goal helped Carlow to victory in Newbridge. The visitors raced into a quick three-point lead and they were 0-9 to 0-7 up at half-time.

A goal from a David Harney free brought Kildare back into the game, but Doyle’s goal ensured that Carlow had enough to prevail.
