Down make late flourish


CHRISTY RING CUP SECOND ROUND: Down 3-11 Kerry 2-10:A LATE flourish, which yielded 1-3, was enough to see Down win at Austin Stack Park on Saturday.

The home side led by 2-10 to 2-8 with seven minutes left, but points from Simon Wilson (two) and Paul Braniff, and a Gareth Johnson goal, saw Down grab victory.
