Wexford trounced visitors Down by 17 points in Enniscorthy. The Wexford win was only remarkable for the return of Garry Laffan and Liam Dunne after long-term injury. Chris McGrath and Martin Storey scored Wexford's goal in a performance that once again exposed Down at the top level.
