It's only two weeks old but already the Superleague has thrown up quite a few surprises. Last weekend saw title holders Star of the Sea upset by Esat Telecom Demons, giving the Cork side an important advantage even at this early stage of the season.

Demons are among six teams that face a double-header this weekend, starting with their trip to meet St Vincent's tomorrow in the National Arena.

The Dublin side will have to do without the influential Karl Donnelly who has Gaelic commitments with Na Fianna. On Sunday the Demons will take on Tolka Rovers with the ambition of making it five successive wins.

This evening's live TV game on TG4 features Killester against newcomers Clare Jets in the National Arena. Killester will be without Paddy Kelly (wrist injury). The Jets' American signing Andrew Pieper finally made his debut against Tolka Rovers and quickly proved his value by scoring 26 points.

Star of the Sea have a chance to get back on level terms with the Demons in their double-header, hosting Kerry Spring Water tomorrow and UCD Marian on Sunday. Waterford Crystal also have a two-game schedule but they won't fancy the prospects of taking on Denny Notre Dame and Neptune - both coming in off convincing wins.

Women's title holders Avonmore Snowcream Wildcats will be eager to get back on winning terms when they host University of Limerick tomorrow.
