DELTA Notre Dame's appeal to have their league fixture with Star of the Sea this weekend postponed has been granted by the national executive of the Irish Basketball Association.
The Tallaght club submitted seven doctor's certificates which verified the extent of the injury and illness crisis which has devastated Mark Ingle's squad.
But Ballina's appeal against there fixture of their league game with Killester has failed. The executive decided that the game must go ahead tomorrow in Sligo.
Ballina's home venue in Killalai is unavailable for the game and although Killester agreed to a new date of March 10th, the executive ruled against the wishes and agreement of both clubs.
