Debutant Doyles dominant

David Doyle and his wife Elaine Doyle of Ballinascorney made a successful debut in the Husband and Wife matchplay competition at Newlands, sponsored by Finches, last week when they beat Dermot and Carmel Bradshaw from the host club 2 and 1 in a thrilling final. The qualifying rounds included 250 couples from all over the country.
