MICK LEAHY, one of the longest serving officers of the Dublin GAA, has died in Dublin. One of the few remaining links with Dublin's last All Ireland hurling success in 1938, Leahy (87) was a former president and life long member of the Eoghan Ruadh club which recently amalgamated with St Oliver Plunkett's.

He also held the post of assistant secretary of the Dublin County Board for decades. He was a substitute on the Dublin team that beat Waterford in 1938.
