Eric De Bruin, coach to Michelle de Bruin, has been named Philips Sports Manager of the Month for August. De Bruin's nomination follows his wife's success in the 1997 European Championships in Seville.
De Bruin was previously named manager of the month for July 1996 following Michelle's gold medal success in the Olympic Games in Atlanta.
