The draw for the Guinness All-Ireland hurling quarterfinals has thrown together Munster runners-up Clare and Connacht champions Galway.

Offaly, who were heavily beaten yesterday will, in a repeat of last year's match at this stage, play Antrim who retained their Ulster title on Saturday.

The line-up is a blow to Clare, who had hoped to avoid the bigger guns because of their injury problems which are likely to deprive them of Ollie Baker and Jamesie O'Connor.

Offaly will be relieved to have again drawn outsiders Antrim - regarded as a rest-day.
