CELTIC are back on top of the Scottish Premier division and not surprisingly manager Tommy Burns wants to stay there

CELTIC are back on top of the Scottish Premier division and not surprisingly manager Tommy Burns wants to stay there. Italian Paolo Di Canio fired a vital match winner for injury hit Celtic against Aberdeen in front of 50,136 fans at Parkhead on Saturday.

It was enough to restore them to the summit of the league for the first time in over a year on goal difference, with Rangers held to a 2-2 draw at bottom club Raith.

"It is very pleasing for us and for our supporters to be up there," said a delighted Burns. "It has taken us a long time to get in this position and ideally it is one we would love to be in more often.

"We have to sustain what we are doing right now and sustain it to the very end of the season - that is the challenge facing us."
